This long slender form with a solid monolithic look has been produced as an extension of a series of A and B bowls, the form now lending itself to be utilized as a small hand basin.
These forms pay homage to the floating harbours used in the Normandy landings in WW2 informing both material and form. The sink is polished after casting to give the concrete a smooth tactile quality.It is fitted with a polished plug hole. They are produced by ourselves in the Room-9 studio, and have natural concrete hues inherent with the casting process.
